Since 1996, Paul Hughes and Julia Sayburn have been operating Howbarrow under organic principles and Soil Association standards.

The farm grows an extensive range of organic vegetables, herbs and fruit, and operate an organic box delivery scheme throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire, using our own veg as well as that from local and regional producers.

Our aim is to sell meat and produce competitively priced. It is available direct from the farm, or via our Home Delivery Service. Deliveries can also be arranged nationwide (but we would prefer you to buy locally!!) Click on 'Online Shop' to see our extensive range of organic fruit, vegetbales and groceries.

We also offer farmhouse B and B - with an organic breakfast, much of it home-produced.
