By road:
Take the A590 towards Barrow-in-Furness and turn left to Cartmel.
Head for the square in the centre of the village and as you face the telephone, take the exit to the right.
This takes you round a sharp right-handed bend and past the race course.
After about a quarter of a mile, take the first left, signed 'cul de sac' and a 'Howbarrow Farm' white board.
Continue on this road for approx. 1.5 miles, passing a road end where you will see another 'Howbarrow Farm' white board. The road runs literally into the Howbarrow farmyard.Bus: To Cartmel approximately two miles from the farm.
Train: The nearest station is at Grange-over-Sands about five miles away.
Availability:
The farm shop and trail are open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 10.00 to 17.00. For group visits, working holidays and B&B; please contact us to make an appointment.
